Manish Arora’s down to the street for the Fashion Week Paris SS16

Today I’m going to talk about the latest campaign of the celebrate Indian fashion designer: Manish Arora.
Based in New Delhi, Manish Arora is regarded by many as “the John Galliano of India“. He is known for a rich palette of psychedelic colors and kitsch motifs in garments that combine traditional Indian crafts like embroidery, appliqué and beading with Western silhouettes.

This season, Manish Arora decided to launch his first street-marketing campaign of the Autumn/Winter 2015/2016 collection through a series of photographs shot on the streets of Paris, and the images will be placed around Paris during SS16 Fashion Week.

Rebellious, extravagant, Freger presents Shaw as a modern-day urban warrior, with an unconventional beauty and an incredible strength.

The medieval influences of the AW 2015/2016 collection are translated into the pop universe that is Manish Arora’s signature, with sporty fur-trimmed sneakers, bubblegum-bright armour underpinnings, lavishly opulent headpieces and quirky cartoon skull bags. Freger’s characteristic portrait style and idiosyncratic poses perfectly interpret the mythological nature of the collection.

If you happen to be in Paris during the Fashion Week SS16 (from the 29th Sep to 7th Oct), don’t hesitate to walk around Paris and maybe you will meet this outstanding street campaign!
